The latest project of Noisy Red Cinema, straying into the world of found footage horror, of paranormal entities, and of working class Yorkshire grit. Ghoulish horror akin to Poltergeist, the Conjuring, and the Blair Witch Project, meets classic British humour in the style of Only Fools and Horses, the Inbetweeners, and The Office.
It’s as much about daft banter in the face of the unknown as it is about things that go bump in the night. Expect shaky cameras, real scares, and those awkward laughs that only happen when ordinary people are thrown into anything but ordinary situations.

This story follows four friends embarking upon their new business venture, an attempt to make a successful web series about their passion; Paranormal Investigation! The mission is simple, find definitive proof of Ghosts somewhere across the famously haunted plains of Yorkshire, England. That sounds easy enough right? Finlay, Blair, Emerson, and Seamus certainly think so.
Alas, it seems not. Ghouls and Goblins aren't so easy to find, but it turns out what is easy to find, is a boat load of drama in the online paranormal community. Having to fight against rival investigators, conmen, obnoxious YouTubers and pranksters, and, to a much less dramatic degree, slightly annoying neighbours, this quartet realise they may have bit off more than they can chew...
And that’s not to mention the true horrors held within Yorkshire. What the Heraldry Paranormal team are looking for… they may just want to leave unfound.
Heraldry Paranormal is a feature film, currently in production. The first half of the film has been shot over two filming blocks in both February and July of 2025, and now we prepare for our final shooting block over 14 days in November, the final half of the film, the spectacular and spooky finale. This shoot has taken place primarily in Leeds, but has also taken to the Yorkshire Dales, to Pontefract (in the same location where Netflix’s Adolescence was filmed), and in November we’ll be headed to the North York Moors.
It’s still being shot, so not available yet! Once the production and post-production of Heraldry is complete, we aim for a big festival run, and then a hopeful streaming release! The future is bright for this project!
